How does plastics recycling work in practice?

Why now?
Until recent year's the plastics recycling industry has had a relatively low profile with more than 50% of plastics in Europe being sent to landfill every year. PRS aims to change this situation and to put more focus on pressing issues within the plastics recycling industry.

Exhibition & Conference
The exhibition will be accompanied by a confernce which will address the latest opportunities and challenges that the plastics recycling industry is facing. The high profile speakers (from among others: European Investment Bank, Hewlett-Packard, Procter & Gamble, Suez) will keep you updated with the latest developments in the sector and will enable you to have an insight into the recycling technologies.
Plastics Recyclers Europe, the professional representative body of plastics recyclers in EU, is opening as well for the first time their Working Group sessions to the public which will constitute a part of the PRS conference. You can now attend the sessions focusing on key plastic materials, specifically PET, PVC, HDPE, LDPE and Mixed Plastics which will be chaired by the PRE Chairmen on the 1st day of the Show.
You can find the latest programme of the PRS Confrence here.
